Do you have to lose your mucus plug to go into labor or for your water to break? Is it also possible to go into labor if your belly hasn't dropped ?

Nope. My mom didn't see her bloody show or anything. She said something just didn't feel right so she went in. 15 min after she got there she asked the nurse if she could go pee and next thing she knew her water broke and she was holding my brothers head between her legs over the toilet!

@princess23x, no problem. labor is a kinda "wait for it" type of moment. you never know when or how you will go into labor

no you don't have to use your mucus plug or have your water to break to go into labor. I definitely didn't. I was in labor and 8cm when they broke my water and no I wasn't induced. all you need is contractions. as far as your belly dropping, I don't think that's important. I mean mine dropped but it didn't make me go into labor. I was still pregnant for a month after
