I'm in real need of venting and some advice. I've been crying for 2 hours. I my SO works long hours and told me he wasn't getting home till late and to ask my mom if she could give me a ride to the grocery store so I could get some food. We live with his parents but his dad only drives and he's on disability.he has a lot of medical problems.but he takes me to all my doctors appointments and any where I need to go. Now for the past few days he's been in pain and I'm not gonna ask him to take me anywhere if he's hurting..... They do everything for me! So anyways when I asked my mom if she could take me to the store she said no Gloria I have got to do my laundry. I told her it was important and I needed to go and she told me I don't live with her and she pays my phone bill and health insurance and doesn't need to do anything that I chose to move in with them.....honestly I wanted to and didn't have a choice because her house is Disgusting. There is cat shit and dog shit everywhere. It stinks bad you can't even breathe and she's pissed I left when I got pregnant. I told her if laundry was that important and she couldn't help me to get to the store that I didn't want anything to do with her that would mean my child doesn't have anything to do with her. She then said she was gonna call social services and make sure she takes my baby away from me! Told me I'm lazy because I won't get a job when I've told her a million times that it's because of medical reasoning. This bitch has been out of work for 3 weeks saying her back hurts and now it's cause she's got bad period cramps! The fuck I'm the one PREGNANT and still manage to clean what I can and do what needs to be done. She tells me I'm gonna kill my grandmother because she's dying and she's gonna make sure she tells my grandma what I did? Then she says she's gonna give my dog away that I've had for 4 years since he was 6 weeks old. My SO says he's gonna take care of everything so I'm not afraid of her threats but she's treated me like this my entire life she makes me miserable she gets me really upset and she's pissed off everyone over here now. I just don't think it's cool to say something like "I'm gonna make sure your kid is taken away" my unborn child. I really want to cut her off from my life. I don't need her. I've never needed her. She didn't raise me my grandmother did. I've tried to get along with her but I feel kinda like this is the last straw. I wanna block her on Facebook and never talk to her again. My life will be so much less stressful.....

She can't take your child away she will need to prove In court that your a bad mother so don't worry Hun save all your messages and her treating you for prove in case you ever need it

I cut off my mom. My entire family pretty much. They are terribly toxic and pick and choose when they are in someone's lives. has been that way since I was a young child. best decision I have ever made.

Y'all should I cut her off? My SO and his family do EVERYTHING me and this baby and she's never done anything for me or this baby.

I struggle enough with extreme anxiety and other stuff. I just think If I cut her off I wouldn't be so stressed and upset

Don't stress it, she has nothing against you that would be useful to take your baby away from you. As someone said, save her messages just in case and also you should take pictures of her house, that way YOU have it against her that no baby should be in that place. her rant makes no sense.

my mom was the EXACT same way. she would call me every name in the book tell me what a p.o.s I am and tell me she hopes my child helps me grow up all because i don't jump when she says jump. im 21 and she had a baby 6 months ago (weird I know) and after she had her baby she apologized and said she didn't want to fight anymore since I was having her grandbaby so far she's been cool but I told her one more time and I'm done. I've dealt with her shit my whole life and have no self esteem because of her my huband had seen the way she treated me and has zero respect for her. everyone gives me "she's your mom and the only one you'll ever have" guilt trip but as soon as she does it again she will be out of my life for good. toxic people don't need to be around you or your baby no matter who they are, if she doesn't change her ways I'd block her and change your number. so what's best for YOU

I cut mine out of my life, blocked her number and everything, she was just toxic and such an immature parent and my so called father wasn't any better, kicked us out of the house when I was pregnant had my son and my husband is away on deployment, I went back there to get help while Hubby was gone and instead got nothing but stress, so I came back home Hubby still gone two dogs a toddler 23 weeks preggers and school, it's not easy but it's a hell of a lot better then letting my children around that negativity and stressing myself out that way. And constantly being torn down
