I had it done with both of mine. it was more uncomfortable than painful .... I cramped after for a bit .... it took about a week for me to go into labor after with both.

I had it with my second daughter I didn't feel anything but pressure. I had mine swept at 3pm on a Friday and went into labor at 5am Saturday morning.
