well had my anatomy scan today, 20 weeks 4 days. she was 12 oz, a few days behind schedule but no concern, my first was as well and she was born 40w4d. I expect about the same.
but I did find out since my work dropped my insurance unknowingly end of march, due to lack of enough hours worked in 2015, I now only have Caresource insurance and they do not cover the electric breastpump. so I've gotta come up with the money for that now too. ughh.

Yes the do cover an electric pump. Your doctor just has to write electric on the prescription. I live in ohio as well and got my pump in January about a week after I had my baby

they told me over the phone they'll only cover electric if the doctor puts down that the child had an illness or whatever other word she used, and I don't see that being my case. was your child a normal birth?

Yes, and that's not true lol. Caresource is stupid. I can give you the list of numbers to call and when you have your baby you call and they will send the prescription to your doctor to have him fill out and it will say electric. But you can't get a Medela without paying some money out of pocket. I got the spectra s1

Yeah that would be nice cause that bothered me. I wanted the spectra s2 because it's at least closed system. I didn't want Medela just for the hassle of trying to keep all those parts clean when I'm already doing everything else lol. do you like the s1? @lovebuggg2016

Sorry, I don't get notifications for some reason. Yes, I do. There are still a lot of parts you have to keep clean, and the battery sucks but it's a good pump. Works very well and it's quiet.
