Any mommy's on here have/had their nipples pierced, and do/plan to breastfeed? So nervous it will hurt more or I won't be able to, advice? I've had then out for about a year now, the right side healed right up but the left isn't healed? keloids I think.. but I leak after a hot shower and I see white stuff on both nipples, which sounds like a good sign.

I had mine nd ended up having to take them out to breastfeed nd it just became to much of a hassle to put them back in everytime.it don't effect my breast feeding at all.only thing is the holes where the rings were leak more milk nd milk comes out a little faster

I had mine pierced for several years and ended up taking them out when I was about 8 weeks pregnant because my boobs got so sore. I'm planning on breastfeeding, and I've actually heard that if you have/had them pierced it makes breastfeeding easier, I sure hope so.

I had mine pierced, took them about a little over three years ago. I'm worried as well, but I'm sure we will be fine. I hope it doesn't cause any complications

I had mine pierced years ago my ob said it actually gives you a better flow lol. They have been closed for years.

I still have mine pierced and I do plan on breastfeeding, but I've been looking to see what's the verdict on keeping them and everything, I love them and don't want to let them go. I've read a few places that they won't affect breastfeeding and two piercers have went as far as saying that the whole taking them out to breastfeed isn't actually necessary in an article I read, so I'm a little torn and still trying to figure everything out and if there's even an alternative to removing them altogether.
