It's really not that bad. I had one with my second birth. There is a lot of pulling and yanking but you can't feel anything. Just stay focused on whoever is in there with you and just keep talking. They will give you something for your nerves if there is time before that helps. The worst part is when they pull the baby out it feels like someone is sitting on your chest put it goes away in a few seconds

Ive had a c-section with my first child and Im having another one with my son in July. I was terrified with my first because it was an emergency csection. But when they got me on the table I immediately calmed down. After its painful, but I promise after day 3 it gets so much better. By day 5 I got to go home and I was doing everything normal again. Its really not as bad as you'd think. You will be numb but you will feel the tugging of them pulling the baby out. If you have any questions just ask me. :)

This helps so much @karnamarie I still have 18 weeks left of my pregnancy but the though still kind of just freaks me out.

I'm having my third c-section in a couple weeks & for some reason I'm nervous all over again but it really isn't that bad! @sadiej

@sadiej It did me too... I had never had any surgery done before so I didn't know what to expect. The room is cold and the spinal block hurt a little but once they have that done it has this warming effect and you start feeling relaxed. My blood pressure kept dropping and I was nauseous so if you start feeling that way make sure you tell the nurse and stay awake

I had no choice to have my c section because I had twin and my one twin was breached. The next after it I was walking around and the third day I went home... More like went to hospital were my babies were. It rough the first three days but it's better after. Stairs were the worst but I had to because I live on third floor of my apt place.

don't be scared love... it's not as bad as it seems. with my first pregnancy I needed to have an emergency C-section due to pre-eclampsia and my son was born 5 weeks early. I was up and walking the next day. yes your very sore but it's all worth it.... keep in mind if you get one they will press on your stomach to make sure your not clotting that hurts but it's all for a good cause.more than likely I will need to have a C-section this pregnancy also since my first delivery was by C-section but put everything in god's hands and have faith everything is gonna be OK!

@sadiej also don't be like me lol before I went in with my first (I was 18) I was crying and saying why can't she just stay in there forever lol I swear I was borderline runaway lol I was so freaked out.
