ADVICE/QUESTION:
I do PLAN on breastfeeding however I do believe in being prepared on all levels just in case things don't go as planned....
With that said, what type of formula is best? or would the doctor tell me the formula I need to put him on? FTM here so I'm confused on how that goes. Plus I wanted to start buying stock now cause when I go back to work breastfeeding is going to be difficult.

Lol that's what I was going to do, but I asked the hospital I'm delivering at and they said ALAWAYS go with Similac unless the belly can't handle it that's what's they give

They normally go with Similac Advance, but someone babies can't tolerate it. I wouldn't stock up on formula until you know what kind your baby will be able to tolerate

Similac is what the doctors usually recommend. when I was breastfeeding my oldest we supplemented with formula. The doctor will have you try some and see what works best for the baby. for example we started with regular Similac formula but after a month her tummy didn't handle it and we gave her soy Similac formula
