girl I'm sorry you are going thru this.... you aren't supposed to brush them at all?? I wonder if you get your toothbrush wet with super hot water to make the bristles softer? and use plain paste toothpaste? I know what you mean it does feel gross not to do it, they expect you to not brush for a month?

Have you tried warm water with salt ?

@sarahdrew i was told by the dentist not to brush my 6 front bottom teeth at all due to my gums being the way they are, i have a soft bristle toith brush thats basically like floss that i use. But I did it any ways and now it hurts horribly😢😢😢 @snicole12 yes, doesnt work just irritates them more

@sarahdrew it's okay, I'm getting use to it but I'm still not bold enough to say what else could go wrong, with my luck everything. I've never had teeth issues, maybe a cavity but that's it now my bottom gums are so swollen I can't bite anything from the front or it'll tear the gum away😩 what's even worse is the dentist can't touch me he can only evaluate and give me meds for it maybe Iif I'm lucky

I know how much that sucks but I would not brush my teeth if I were you, and yes it sounds yucky but by the time you go to your appointment your probably going to be fine already, I had the same issue like 3 weeks ago all I did was rinsed my mouth with warm water and salt, and get some listerine just so your mouth doesn't feel as gross and it did wonders for me I didn't have to see the dentist....

I did this for like a a week and a half

@laila92 sadly by the time I do to my appointment it'll be worse it's been this way for 6 months and has only gotten worse, that's the only reason I'm going to a dentist bc they started out bleeding at 6 weeks then got swollen then the got inflamed and started working their way up my teeth now if i bite anything or brush them the gums will move away from my teeth, salt water irritates them and I was told not to use Listerine because the alcohol in it:/

Have you tried the mouth wash Orajel? Its a pain reliever and works real well. Salt too!
