I'm extremely paranoid about leaving my son alone to sleep in his bassinet but it's also unsafe for him to fall asleep on me. I haven't really slept since he's been born because I'm up spending more time checking if he's breathing throughout the night than actually catching some zzz's myself. They say to sleep while the baby is sleeping.. I wish it was that easy 😖

All mommies do it. Especially in the beginning. I was up 10 times before I rested my eyes then he was up shortly after I closed my eyes. The lack of sleep is real with a newborn. But don't worry soon enough you'll get it back, then lose it again when they begin to teeth.

My baby is two months. I sleep as much as I can. I never really lost my sleep 🙂 but I did become a light sleeper so I wake up to every little noise.

I invested in a movement monitor, best invention ever, I'm sure without it I would have be up as well, my first woke up every two hours to eat an just be awake sometimes, so sleep was something I longed for.

@supprise4 is right! I have a monitor like that and I sleep ten times better!
