not in California you can't. they just upped the age all the way to 2 for front facing (sounds ridiculous I know, like their legs would be too long but it actually does make sense safety wise due to recent tests) it used to be 1 OR 40lbs or something like that, now it is straight up 2. I hate seeing little ones under a year front facing, I even saw someone with a rear facing seat in the FRONT... I got so angry!

Yea I knew it was between 1 and 2 where you can start forward facing, it's just crazy how some people think it's okay to do it before then. I did a whole project on car seat safety my senior year so after reading all the statistics and accident reports, I wish I could prevent my child from riding in a car at all lol @marienoelle

I'm the same way! Lol when I'm in the car with my fiancé I always tell him he needs to be more careful because we have precious cargo with us and he says that he's perfectly safe inside of me and I'm way too paranoid but I can't help it😂 @marienoelle

Here in Wisconsin it's different my baby is 18 months and her seat is front facing .. And police never gives us problems about it ... I seen someone with a baby that look like he was 9 months facing forward and they were a older white couple so I know they knew better
