Wat do you guys think of castor oil to kick start labor

@1prince1princess, don't do it.. I believe there was a bad experience on her about someone who did it and their baby passed away

It's one of the stupidest things someone could do and it's not worth it. That's what I think.

It makes you poop, and can also make the baby poop long before it is ok for baby to poop, meaning before baby is actually born. the poop then can get into the babies lungs and cause a nasty infection that can be easily deadly for a newborn. it isn't worth the risk in my opinion just to have baby come a few days earlier. I would so much rather me be uncomfortable or in pain, instead of causing ANY deadly risk to my son.

Yea I believe that's all your supposed to take my cousin tried to get me to do it she said ur supposed to mix wit orange juice and only put a spoonful in it anything more than that will make the baby poop but not die .! 😒 @numommy2016

Im not doing it lol I was tryin to see Wat u guys thought of it ... I work 6 days of the week 8 hours a day to go home to a 18 month old girl I Dnt think I will need any help with kicking off labor lol @numommy2016

I used caster oil with my first child and it worked for me and my son is perfectly fine but that sh*t taste awful

Nope!!! I know too many people who had complications!!! Won't go ANYWHERE near it!!!

I still wouldn't risk it I've seen way too many women heartbroken because their children either passed or were In the NICU because of it even when they took a small amount my child's life is not worth it if rather be uncomfortable for longer than risk it but that's just my opinion

I understand that but do they have proof that these things happened bcuz of castor oil .? Many things cause infant death or birth deformities but do that have records saying that castor oils caused this to happen .? Or did someone Jst say it came from castor oil @me scruz0530

From the women I've seen seen yes because the babies all have had meconium in the lungs due to having a bm and swallowing it and it going into the lungs it's been multiple people

Obviously not everyone who uses it will have problems but if there's even a small chance why risk it? I have read a lot of things that say none of that stuff is scientifically proven to work to start labor anyway but I had all of mine about 9 days early naturally and I ate spicy food walked and had lots of sex :)
