I just worked until I went into labor all 3 times. I quit at 12 weeks with this baby though. Idk if it's because I'm 36 years old instead of my 20 ' s but I'm just so exhausted this time I couldn't do it anymore!
Yeah, I'm full time doing asset protection and it's ridiculous sometimes but like time is literally standing still for me when I'm not at work so my plan is just to keep up till my water breaks as best I can! It's not easy tho for sure
I come home and just lay here after work just from my back killing me, and I heard the ultrasounds can be roughly a pound or so off from what the baby actually weighs so maybe she won't be that big!! Lol
My water broke while I was on my lunch break! I planned on working up until my son came so I left work around 12:30 and my son was born at 8:30pm that same day
@jnanzer94, I know I hope they're not accurate in weight it's a nightmare lol she does look chubby!!! but I guess we will see when the day comes .. yes as long as you're comfortable and aren't in a restless stage then work it up.. more time with baby.. I wish my belly wasn't so big I would have worked until labor lol but I'm short also and the back pain kills me
Oh wow big baby!! Lol the only thing that gets to me is when I'm scheduled 7-8 hour shifts, the 4 hour ones aren't so bad but when I'm on my feet and everything they start to hurt and my back hurts from it too. But luckily I don't have a giant belly in front of me to get in the way, I'm really small for 37 weeks. But my boss just goes week by week with the scheduling and she knows when I'm due so I'm sure she'll understand it all.
@jnanzer94, as long as you feel fine I let my job know a month ahead of when I was leaving which kinda worked out because it was the 31st of March so I can just start the new month fresh and get one last check from my job.. plus my belly is huuuuuuuge and it was harder and harder on me along with trying to stay awake at work lol .. and now I know why because she is supposedly weighing at 8 lbs 12 oz
I feel fine when I work I just don't want them to schedule me and then them get screwed on finding someone to cover my shifts. I feel bad if that were to happen 😒 @inkedmomma @babybee I'm thinking about being done a week before my due date I felt that was most likely a good time
I stopped exactly at 37 weeks 2 days @jnanzer94 if you want to keep going go for it..I kinda wish I should have worked 1 more week... but don't force yourself
