you can do it as soon as u have it...I don't remember what day it was with my 2nd having them give a bottle of my milk to him but he had it and was back before I knew it lol :) I had a c section and I'm really short and couldn't get him out of the bassinet/crib thing hospitals keep your baby in so night one baby stayed with me and my hubby second night he went home to b with our oldest and so on and sometimes the baby wakes at night just to say I need changed not fed so we tried their pump and it worked amazing and made me so happy that I could see that my milk was coming in and stuff :)
My daughter is almost two weeks and her pediatrician said its fine that I pump, so her daddy can feed her. Just stick to one type of nipple so she doesn't get super confused. But, my daughter does just fine going from boob to bottle.

The recommendation is no other nipples before 6weeks I believe.

Whenever you feel you're ready. I introduced my son at 2 weeks and he hasn't had a problem going from boob to bottle and he's now 7 weeks
