am I being messed up for not wanting my daughter to stay over anyone else's house? They constantly keep saying "I need a break or time to myself" meanwhile those words NEVER come out of my mouth, I don't want nor need a break or time to myself. I don't like being away from her, it's not part of my routine, I will not be myself if I don't have her for the night. I chose this life and I don't need others putting words in my mouth. I get so angry and upset when people say that, stay out of my life, if I needed or wanted a break id ask.

I'm the same way. I make sure my husband has time for just him and I because our babies will grow and be out of the house before we know it but I also appreciate the fact that babies are babies for such a short amount of time...

Nope there is nothing wrong with that because when my son get here he will not be allowed to spend the night out neither .

I wouldn't get offended, they probably just want to help. But I was the same way, it was yrs before my son slept out (and only at 1 particular aunts house) and only because me and his father went on a trip

I go through that as well . Even with the ones that I'm carrying people are like oh they can come spend the night when they are 3 months etc etc . No my kids are not going anywhere . If I wanted a damn break I wouldn't have had kids . Showing support to me is you just saying "hey if you need help or a break I'm here" instead of trying to tell me what I'm gonna need . How it's gonna be . I'm a selfish mom and I don't care , they are my kids !
