I think it would be better for my kids personally I think I will do homeschooling im and going to figure out what I have to do

@mantha823, yeah totally! I want my son to have the proper education he needs I don't want him left behind because of teachers not knowing how to do their job.

@lexirosex3 she would take them to a museum and that was their history lesson.....she taught them maybe 3 hours everyday but stretched it out so they weren't overwhelmed. I know you'll have to spend money on supplies but you buy the supplies for the school year anyway

@mommyhammond2016, exactly I agree!! My son acts so different because of the kids in the school it's so negative and my fiancé wants me to homeschool my son and I would love to but I don't know how I would start or what I have to do

my friends kid is in 1st grade and they are making her so times tables and division -_-

@mantha823, @lexirosex3 I am seriously considering homeschooling because not only is the school curriculum messed up the kids these days around where I live are horrible talking rude and cursing bad being so rude and disrespectful I feel like at home I'll be able to help my children more at home it's sad the way things have turned I don't remember any of this stuff happening when I was little.

@mommyhammond2016, @lexirosex3 I've been trying for 2 years now to get my son the help he actually needs from school and they keep telling me that he doesn't qualify for it!!! yes he does completely!!! I hate how it all is I'd love to homeschool but my husband is against it

@mommyhammond2016, exactly! Definitely is setting up the kids to fail! Smh.. My sons teacher told me she was going to fail my son and I told her were not even at the end of the school year wth so I went to the school and spoke personally with the Principal and if the principal doesn't do anything about it than I'll be going to the district!

@mantha823, I agree 100% my child isn't as advanced as other students he's had speech problems since little, it's even double harder for him! His teacher just doesn't care either.. Everything is all screwed up!

@mantha823, I watch a video on fb of a mom going off at a school district meeting about this new curriculum she asked them to do a problem her 4th grader gets from school and asked them to do it then she asked how they figured it out and when the lady told her the mom said that if her 4th grader were to turn that in that it would be marked wrong because it wasn't the right way to figure out the answer. not because the answer was wrong. the mom also stated that the level of math they are asked to do is VERY similar to college level math. she was talking about the common core method they are using.....:( I'll never be able to help my children in school because I have no freaking clue how to do it. that mom also stated that since they started common core kids are testing worse then before and she believed it was setting kids up to fail pretty much. I agree with her personally

1st grade . I feel like an idiot I can't understand it sometimes ... It's crazy .

@mommyhammond2016, @lexirosex3 they definitely changed it and to be honest I have a hard time understanding their teaching methods.....I teach him how I learned it

My son is in 1st grade and it's ridiculous!

they changed the education A LOT in the last 15 years why I don't know it seems way more complicated then when I was in school.

A few weeks we had to google first grade homework 😒
