I do both just until I get my breast pump so my fiance can feed her

Agreed @kparis that's how I nurse is on demand. But I'm having to transition to formula now 😔

I fed on demand. I don't think you can really tell someone when or not to be hungry, you know? But I think the general rule of thumb is about 1.5-2 hours. If you are nursing, babies often nurse for other reasons than just being hungry also(/

It's normally every two hours but my daughter had times where she was nursing every hour during growth spurts
