❌❌Long but Going to try and make this simple. My LMP determines I am 21+5. When I went in for my 12wk scan on the day I turned 12wks the ultrasound tech said I was measuring 10+5. ok. so my Dr then changed my EDD from August 9th to August 18th. March 10th(17wks0days; by ultrasound) I went for my anatomy scan, everything was fine. My Dr and the tech both confused their self by saying my original gestation age of 18+4 but saying the new edd of August 18th(I didn't correct them) ❌ANYWAYS THE POINT OF THIS POST❌, I just so happen to look on the MyChart thing at the notes from my anatomy scan, and she put LGA(Large for gestational age) fetus affecting management of mother.... She didn't tell me this, what exactly does it mean?

Also at my appointment with my OB on March 8th my fundal measurement was 18cm but at the time I was 16+4

Ugh I could be speculating but it seems like a fast track to a c section. They LOVE putting in notes without telling you. I just had a nightmare visit with this ob and I'll be switching practices. I'd call for clarification.

I've never had a c section, I don't think that's the case lol. I think they should just go with my August 9th EDD instead of the 18th @mamamoonbaby I'll ask tmrw at my appt.

@0816mommy, My doula has given me a lot of insight as to how the hospital's work here in my town. Women of color are streamlined to receive c sections. They tried everything to label me high risk and I've had a great, normal pregnancy. I did say I could be speculating but I was told many contradicting things at my previous office. I switched Drs due to stuff like this. Good luck tomorrow!

oh okay, I never heard that problem here. The office I go to never pressured c sections. but a baby measuring bigger I don't think it would be necessary unless there were complications. Which I hope not. my son was 7lbs8oz and posterior, which they could of asked me if I wanted a c section, but they didn't.
