My daughter is having such a hard time pooping and I don't know what to do to help her. I feel so bad I wanna cry with her! I gave her Karo syrup and water missed together like the doctor told me and she pooped all up her back twice yesterday and hasn't gone since.. I don't know what to do.. 😩😭😞

oh, my lactation consultant said as long as she isn't straining it was normal..... have you tried the q-tip or rectal thermometer? I've heard you can put some vaseline on it and gently move it around and it can help them poop as well

my breastfed baby used to go up to a week without pooping sometimes, pediatrician said it's completely normal. it just means that baby was able to use the nutrients and has nothing leftover to waste. as long as there are plenty of wet diapers, she is fine(:

@sarahdrew, yes she straining.. And I can hear her stomach bubbling... Her pedi said she should have 3-4 dirty diapers a day... Usually she does but not the last few days..

it's normal for them not to poop everyday mama, my daughter will sometimes go 2 to 3 days between.... it just means they are using the breastmilk to grow and they don't have much waste from it, as long as her wet diapers are still good, she's good... is she straining?

it's called a football hold. it's with one hand. I prefer 2. or whatever you like. it kinda puts them like on their tummy on your arm.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.

So I'm having some late pregnancy worries... What if cant comfort her? What if I don't know why shes crying? Like say we're out and shes screaming and I just don't know what she wants!! That thought scares the shit out of me!

@kattastrophe, she has plenty of wet diapers but she usually poops a lot during a day and just stopped... And she's farting a little but she has to try hard for them lol she'll start screaming and then fart and be fine until she has to fart again... @sarahdrew my mom used a thermometer on her yesterday..
