would anyone mind sharing a photo of their birth plan? I just want to see how others are typing…

u have to type yours?! my hospital just gave me a piece of paper to fill out?!

No I haven't gotten any sort of paper, plus I'm not making it super long there's just a couple things I want, like skin to skin immediately when he comes out, delayed cord clamping, small things like that. @warfordmomma

when u do it make sure u put your options if they have to do a c section and options for if u have to be induced just so u cover everything

Oh for sure, good point. It is very possible I may end up having a c section, my lil man is already measuring two weeks ahead, and his daddy was born almost 10 lbs so he's kinda destined to be big. Of course I will only do a c section if absolutely necessary though. Early in my pregnancy I was told I had placenta previa and to expect a c section if the placenta didn't move but thankfully it moved on its own so I won't have to have a c section, at least not for that reason. @warfordmomma but anyways thanks for the advice I didn't really think about that so I appreciate it!

@emkasting, your welcome! did u schedule a walk through your birthing center or hospital? bc when I scheduled a walk through they had a birth planner there and she gave me the paper! oh and think about if u want an episiotmy if they ask or what other options u want!

I had one scheduled then it got cancelled because of a flu outbreak or something so I need to reschedule it. I'm touring two different hospitals because I'm not sure I want to deliver at the one I've been planning to, I've heard bad things about it. So I'm gonna tour both that one and a second hospital that I like a lot @warfordmomma

well when u do that hopefully they can give you a paper to help u with your options! and if u don't like the first one or u heard bad things I wouldn't even consider it just bc God forbid something happens u will be thinking negative things the whole time and that would just add to your stress. go somewhere that makes you feel safe and secure with the best care for u and baby! so u don't have to worry! the less stress in these situations that u can control the better ur experience: )@emkasting

Yeah I just don't like that I've consistently heard bad things. Plus I would most likely end up sharing a room with someone which I dont want to do. A good friend of mine delivered at the other hospital I'm considering and the birthing suites are beautiful @warfordmomma

you can print some blank ones online

My hospital doesn't provide a paper with options, pretty much if you don't have a plan typed out then they'll do whatever they deem 'necessary'. I live in a town with only one hospital so I don't get much of a choice on that. haha

my doctor told me to go thebump and there is a mulitple choice questionnaire thing you can print out and just check what you want. It's super simple. if you just Google search "birth plans" the bumps site should pop up.
