Box dye yeah, I did my friends when she was pregnant all the time haha not sure about salon? I think you can go to the salon depends on what they use though.. That's what I was told but I Defo know that you can with box dye xx

@courtniegeexo, salons fine, just obviously make them aware that your pregnant. They'll most likely keep the product they use off your scalp to stop it going into your blood stream. Also make sure the salon is well ventilated and know that hormone changes in the body can make the dye take a different colour! Xx

Yah, but my friend was pregnant when she dyed her hair it didn't take, due to all the hormones or something that's getting released into the hair or something sounds odd, but @courtniegeexo xxx

yeah I dyed mine once myself and second time I got the ends bleached in a salon xxx

You can dye your hair, my midwife said just stay away from bleach on your scalp x

Im a hairdresser and nearly all my clients have their hair dyes when they've bee pregnant. if you have and cuts or scratches on your scalp you need to be careful as there is a very small chance that some of the dye can go into your blood stream then to the baby (never known or heard of this though) but the main thing is your hormones affect the colour it can take better or not so well and sometimes doesn't last as long as normal. it's down to you if you want it doing or not really just be aware it may not go as well as normal xx

I've also had mine done 3 times since being pregnant and had no problems with lasting or irritation xx
