I want to have a home birth?! Any tips from experienced ladies? I had my 1st in a hospital with a midwife. Never doing that again! A birthing center is an option but it is almost 2 hours away.Should I buy or rent a pool? Also my husband took a class on emergency delivery just in case the midwife doesn't make it in time and he's learning reflexology. Anything else he should learn? Thanks

renting a pool costs just as much as buying one. we bought ours, went with birth pool in a box and got the pro so we can reuse up to 40 times. both of you should look into taking a neonatal resuscitation class, if you are planning a lotus birth or delayed cord clamping/burning be sure to look for a course that will teach cpr with the umbilical cord attached bc most will only teach to cut the cord immediately. I birthed at home in water unassisted so if you have anymore questions or seeking advice feel free to message me =)
