taking miralax until regular again helps then after that using colace once a day will keep it softened and not irritate them. after going u need to use wipes and not dry toilet paper the. use a panty liner and put preperation h on before bedtime and sleep with it on. in morning take off and wash really good. it also helps throughout day to use panty liner and put tucks pads or put witch hazel on the liner and let it rest along the hemmrhoids. preperation h will shrink them and the other stuff will relieve the pain and burning. the medicines will help prevent from future. (( lol... been through it and now at my third pregnancy a pro!))
