Why in the world is my son spitting up just about every time I breastfeed him?

something you ate? reflux?

I don't know I eat oatmeal pretty much every morning, I ate a few fries and some grilled chicken and asparagus. Didn't think any of that would cause so much spitting up,.@sarahdrew

reflux or he just over ate.

You might have a big let down. He's only spitting up what he doesn't need.

I was thinking he's over eating but he was crying for it and nothing would make him stop but the boob.. Lol @beckahhkathleen

I definitely have a fast let down so I'm not sure how to prevent him from spitting up.. He's done that with bottles too, but usually doesn't spit up when I burp him about halfway through or slow him down. It's just hard to determine what he's getting and exactly when I should be stopping him.. @junesmommy15 @sarahdrew

Spitting up is very normal for young babies. He's just getting more than what he needs because he is comfort feeding.
