Does anyone else use the 0-3 month Avent bottles? No matter how tight I put the lid on they all leak…

Sometimes avent bottles have a little ring piece that goes on it under the top. If your bottles are the kind that is supposed to have those that would explain the leaking

they didn't come with any ring, just the nipples, the part the nipple goes in and the bottles :/ @embersandash

I don't personally use them for my baby but there is a little boy in the infant room I work in that has avent bottles. Some of his need that ring and others don't. I've only ever experienced leaking when that ring was missing from a bottle that needed it. I don't know how to tell which kind is which though. Sorry

@embersandash i looked into it and all the reviews for the specific bottle are all talking shit about them leaking. 😐 which sucks because they were expensive.

Aww I'm sorry. That does suck. I usually use Dr. Brown bottles but we have some Playtex ones as back ups. I've had the Playtex ones leak on me sometimes so I don't use them often.

@theinkedmommy mine leak between the bottle and the lid and it literally pours out, its like the plastic treading doesn't fit together correctly. i really love the bottles otherwise, and i only use them when im out or drinking and cant breastfeed so it's not too big of a deal, i'll just put a bib on the baby i suppose lol.

@theinkedmommy it usually ends up everywhere, like all over me, the couch/bed, the baby. i don't think breastmilk is a pretty smelling perfume lmfao. in fact once it's on clothes it smells so gross. like last night i was a little drunk and feeding him a bottle and almost threw up because the smell was all over me 😣
