I did in the shower. I figured it was because I showered as soon as I got up which meant I was hungry and thirsty...throw in the hot water and I passed out...now I make sure to eat and drink something if I shower right away in the morning and it usually works.

wow. I've had this app for only an hour or so and have gotten so much help! I was getting out of the shower too @keeping_up_with_duprees ... have you figured out what triggered it? is it just the hot water?

I did, I passed out one time so far and they are just keeping an eye on me just to make sure everything is OK, haven't seen doc since so I'll find out for sure next week. but they were worried because of my blood pressure rising when I stand and how I felt before passing out. this wasn't due to my iron I know for sure because my iron was at 14.6 and they said that's good.

I did once from switching positions too fast in the very beginning of my pregnancy. Orthostatic hypotension. Then the other times were throughout my pregnancy where I've come very close to fainting. I'd get hot flashes and everything start blurry . I just needed to sit down, hydrate and get some fresh air. I could usually feel it coming.

I passed out in the shower when pregnant with my son and had to take iron pills. with my daughter I was fine.

I was told I have a big iron deficiency too but then they never called me back about getting me on a supplement. .. I was getting out of the shower when it happened, very scary. does eating help?

Yes, bc I have severe iron deficiency anemia. I take iron supplements & be careful when I'm standing or any activity
