Would it be pointless for my BF to buy me a ring if my fingers get swollen it won't even fit😔

Will it fit right now? I made the mistake of getting my rings sized bigger cuz they went back to tiny after my son 😩

If he did get it it would be for my birthday in July we talked about it. But now I'm thinking my fingers might be swollen by then @stephhhx3

get the ring in the size you normally wear and wear it as a necklace until swollen goes down. I can still wear my rings so far I'm 23 weeks and I don't think I will have a problem until closer to 30 weeks

@shananaginsx, yea I know but my boyfriend and I are very serious been together for 4 years and I just get annoyed at the thought of being judged. Especially in the summer il be showing and around his family members. I don't need them questioning us when we already have it planned out and if I'm wearing my ring I don't feel they need to ask any questions.

Yeah I feel the same way, but I had to take my ring off when I was around 25 weeks cause I started swelling bad and it got stuck. You can get it bigger but some days it might be big or other it might be small. If it's an expensive ring you wouldn't want it to get cut off or fall off and get lost! If they know who cares, we are in the same spot too. Or wear it around your neck? Idk up to you but remember you might swell and not know how big either.

Yeah. We have been together for almost 5 years and people don't get why we aren't married and it's like cause we haven't gotten around to it! I liked when I could wear my ring too, but my sausage fingers would swell so bad it kept getting stuck. Try not to worry about other people, you guys know your story ☺️

@shananaginsx, right there is no rush I don't mind having a long engagement because there are things that still need to get into place. But I want my ring before baby comes so at least we know marriage is in the works. Once we are done with school. Your right I'll try not to worry.

Yes! We have focused on everything else before a wedding. Try your hardest, it isn't easy and I know when I was earlier I was more concerned then one day I woke up and was like why do I care what people think ??? A piece of paper won't change how me and his father are to him, we know where we both stand and what we want. I am upset I will not share his last name yet, but time will get us there.
