I'm going thru the same exact issue and don't know what to do. My best friend just said she's the god mother but me and my man didn't disgust it. I would like her to be the god mother but she is always hopping from state to state and I need a more settled person who can take part in rasing this baby

Lmao I had that same issue with my first daughter. Some girl we was close but not that close going around claiming she's the godmother then talked shit about my man.

I'm very blunt, I would just tell them. If they get mad, well that's their issue. Some people feel so entitled.

My aunt was kind of offended cause' she expected to be the godmother. I love her and all, but her and I aren't close and she is super immature. I want the godmother of my child to be, responsible, humble and kind so my child can learn those traits.
