I think I may have just experienced my first Braxton Hick contraction this morning. I woke up at 5:40 to pee, and the second I finished and stood up there was this tight crampy feeling in my upper stomach area. I don't really know how to describe it but it was like a tight knot was in my stomach. I got up and walked around for about 5-10 mins and it started to ease so I drunk some water and tried to lay back down. A few seconds later I felt the pain again. The same cramp like pain. It was only two contractions in an hour then it stopped. I don't know what Braxton Hicks are supposed to feel like or how to tell your having them, but I can't think of anything else that could have been so I guess they were. And I have been awake ever since 😩
