my "mom" is the same way. my brother has a total of 4 and only 1 is his and she only caters to the youngest one and buys her all that she wants and takes her out of town I totally understand. like my mom does not like my honey. but yet she says she can't wait to see her new grand baby. which is a lie like I am 31 weeks pregnant and she has yet asked to see a pic of her or rub my belly. so I feel you and this is my own blood doing this to my unborn princess. so as of right now she does not have any part with me or her.

@jaer5683, I have a soon to be 5yr old and almost 1yr old, I don't live with my mom, but when she does come, she comes when she wants without letting me know and causes arguments with me in front of my kids! I'm pregnant again and she doesn't really care, she doesn't call or text to check on my kids that she claims she loves more than life its self, and put a their pictures all over her fb. my brother just had his first baby and is about 4months, but the thing is, my brother is out of state on work while his gf and baby are staying with her mom which stays a lot farther than me, my mom is about 15m from me and more like 30m from her, 1hr with traffic and she's been visiting them but not my kids. I'm so done with the favorites. I'm not allowing her to take pictures of my kids no more while she's here, which is basically the only reason she visits, so she looks good on Fb. not to mention her work is 5mins from my house! I'm done with it

Oh my girl yeah we are in the same boat. don't worry them kids know where and who loves them! just continue to be a great mother and do all you need to and she'll learn either to accept it or move on with out you. like I don't want my mom to be a part of my baby's life because she is such a horrible example and puts things in my brothers kids head about my man and I always think she'll do that to my princess.

My oldest likes her because when she does come she usually brings candy, or hand me down toys, which I don't have a problem with second hand toys or clothes, but she would never do that to my brothers daughter and my mom has money. but I also don't want her apart of our lives, and she doesn't accept it. she thinks because she's my mom she has every right to be here no matter how bad she is. she has lied to all of my family about me, caused drama, my own brothers won't talk to me because of her! its crazy! I honestly believe she's narcissistic. I think its crazy how mothers can be like that, I can never do that to my kids, ever! that's horrible to make up lies about your man to your family tho, smh.

and what's sad is that this little girl that she tells that too is only 6 years old and she makes it known to my honey hello my Nana said this and she said this about you my nana hates you and all that kind of stuff I mean it hurts me but like I tell my honey I rather her not be a part of our life then to be hurt with constant pain all because she favors my brother and his children but I mean it's her choice and like I told money as of right now she has other grandparents that are not even officially grandparents to take care of her and love her rather than my mom who is evil and conniving and twisted and a narcissist but I mean I sometimes wonder if we do have the same mom I just love this app because I'm able to connect with people that have the same things in their life

@jaer5683, I honestly did even know what narcissistic was until I hheard it on here and had to Google what it was. I told my mom that, that's what she is, and she thinks it only means to make up lies 😂 which its far more than that! and she fits everything to a T that it said. I think that too about this app, you can talk to people who are like you or going thru the same thing, its hard to just meet someone off the street with something that's the same. that's so messed up to be telling a 6yr old that! and your brother is fine with your mom talking like that in front of her? if not then he's just like her!

it does bother him but my mom has put stuff in his head about my honey so he kind of feels the same way as my mom does the only person that really likes my man is my sister-in-law my brother's wife she went through the same thing as my mom is doing to my honey my mom has called the state on her and accused her of doing drugs with the kids and so my brother stopped talking to her for about 6 years and now he's talking to her again and now he goes to her side and he always tells me where I'm wrong and how she's the only mother and I only get one and how I need to forgive her and let her be a part of my daughter's life and my life and I don't know it's just it's a lot but I have a good man and he takes care of me so that's all that matters to me I'm happy and he's happy we can't wait for a new little family are you single or do you have someone to help you and support you with what's going on with your mom
