Talk to your dr my baby girl had some issues heart , measuring small etc that they suspect downs was so not the case at all after going thru the whole downs testing and freaking myself out I worried for nothing all has disappeared in third trimester

all of the downs tests have come back negative. they said the next step would be to do an amniocentesis but they said that they wouldn't worry about it because all of the other tests have come back negative.

I wouldn't stress. All of our chromosomal tests came back negative for defects but at our anatomy scan they thought one of his kidneys had to much fluid in it and there was a spot on his heart. They told me not to worry about it (yeah right) and scheduled another detailed scan for a month later and everything was completely normal. There was no spot on his heart and his kidney was completely normal. Sometimes they catch shadows and artifacts from the ultrasound that aren't there so they keep an eye on everything.
