I would ask your OB. And you can be sexually active during pregnancy up until your water breaks unless your OB says otherwise.

Sex is completely safe during pregnancy, you guys may just have to find a more comfortable position but pressure and discomfort is normal, especially afterwards.

If it's causing pain I'd tone it down a notch. I'm still having sex too and I've had mild pain from time to time. As long as you're not bleeding you should be fine.

They would have picked up on a cyst at your ultrasound, don't jump to scary conclusions too soon.
