Just announce the name at birth. People are dicks. Mine snd my husbands fsmily hated the name we picked for a boy. Micahs not even a bad name. If you like Micah you can have that name btw. We might be having a girl now. They arent sure lol.

there's nothing wrong with that at all. some women have their baby and still haven't decided what to name them. I agree with not telling anyone the name when u pick one out I'll be doing the exact same.

yes keep it to yourself with my middle child my mother in law tried changing her name was telling people her name was Taylor I'm like no it's not so with my son I didn't tell till 2 hours after he was born lol

Yes i think you should keep it to yourself i had started telling people what i want to name my boy and they always had a rude comment about it

keep it to yourself. I have two names in mind and the family knows them but I act like I want something else do they stop making rude comments about them.

I've definitely found judgments with the name my fiancé and I picked for our boy. I'm not going to change it, though I've already been told by one person that I should. 😒
