I wondered how women do it. I didn't BF, but I had a c-section and I remember thinking to myself, "I can't move without crying from pain, I can hardly lift my daughter, how to breast feeding women do it?!?!"
I breastfed my son and had a C section . It depends on the person . I was totally fine after my C section. If someone was around I would asked for them to bring baby to me . Most of the time I was alone . I thought breastfeeding after my daughter 2nd child first vaginal was harder than with the C section
Oh okay, I was wondering about the medication that they would give you after a c section. Would you be able to breastfeed or wait just so baby does t intake that meds too? @missa7
Oh okay . The meds my doctor prescribed me was safe for breastfeeding. However I pumped / fed then took it so it would be as strong ..... But just let your doctor know you plane to breastfed
Every mommy is different all 3 of my children were breastfed had all 3 by c-section no pain meds only stool softeners while in the hospital. Lifting the babies were no problem, but if there was someone who could bring the baby to me it helped. When I got home I let baby sleep in little traveling bed beside me, that way I didn't have to do a lot of reaching.
I breastfed after c sections.. I was even prescribed vicodin for pain that was OK to take while nursing.. I just didn't take it much unless I had to just in case..

I was told u can still breast feed normally after a c section my c section is scheduled for Tuesday the 5th only 3 days left until then
