Lol. Yeah you'll get that prob on here too. But my insurance covered my sons and they did it the day after he was born or maybe even the same day. I don't remember lol. But without the insurance I think it's around 200$ (might be wrong!)

your kid..your choice. my son got his done on the 2nd day by the pediatric dr on site in the hospital. I met him prior and went over my concerns. insurance must have picked it up because I was never billed. (my husband was laid off at the time so my son had medical assistance).

Call ur child's dr well the one that will c them & ask I have to do the same thing myself bc my hospital isn't doing them anymore

Who cares what anyone thinks..you can be doing so well and people find something to judge and act like their opinion affects you..just ask your insurance best bet is getting it done as soon as possible so the tissue doesn't become to tender.

I can't stand how everyone gives a shit about what other moms are doing. if you choose to, fine if you choose not to fine. why is everyone such a dick? anyways to answer your question. its considered an elective procedure so it won't be covered under insurance in most cases. they can do it there in the hospital at birth or whenever you can afford it but ask your pediatrician the whereabouts

It's all up to you! You're the momma and it's your choice. I personally know two grown men whose moms did not have them circumsized and one is my brother. One decided to have the operation when he was 12 which was excruciatingly painful and took 4 weeks to recover. My brother says he was bullied all through high school football because of it and would have much rather had my mom have it done. It's your choice in the end and don't let anyone make you feel bad about your choice. There are many more tough choices to come and you'll have to be confident because everyone has advice for a child that isn't theirs. 😁 Good luck!

@lynna0909, its your baby! u make the decision u think is best! to each their own. I personally will not have my son circumsized do to the fact that my husband isn't either, he will teach him to be confident in his body as he gets older... my husband had no problem with bullying about not being circumsized.. u will be surprised at how many ppl arnt doing it these days. its normal to have and gives added protection, also circumcisions cause more lack of feeling in the penis as they are older as a pose to uncircumsized! but everyone has a right to make the best choice for their son! don't let anyone tell u what to do with ur baby.
