I haven't really bought a whole lot for my son yet only a few outfits here and there and some…

We waited til after the shower and got most of what we asked for. Lots to toys, clothes, and blankets on top of what was on the registry. I think the only thing we have had to buy so far is a baby carrier ( for baby wearing) and the car seats

I waited and got a ton of things! Only things I didn't get that I will need are a socks, a plastic baby bath (I got one of the flower cushion ones that goes in the sink), baby toys and a high chair which my aunt and uncle are going to get me once it comes time that I'll need one. So I say it was definitely worth it to wait! If you're out and about and see clothes you like I suggest getting bigger sizes like 6+ months because everyone got me newborn and 0-3 months so I have only a few things bigger than that.

@cmbwalker did people buy you big stuff? in afraid people will key try to get a lot of the less expensive things instead of the more expensive things I need

The great grandma bought a high chair and one of the grandmas bought a crib and the other bought the changing table. Closer family is definitely more likely to buy bigger stuff.

@cmbwalker I already have a crib that's one big thing and I have a pretty good knowing of what the close family will get, there just not getting what I really really needed I feel like

I got a crib/changing table combo, 2 carseats, a swing, a bouncer, 2 strollers. A ton of big stuff. But I have a big family and there were close to 50 people at my shower so it just depends on who's going really! And if you're that nervous you could always buy things and keep the receipts and take back whatever you do get. :)

@taylorrleee1 I think all together we invited about 65 people so im hoping if at least like 40 people come I'll do good gift wise!
