So has anyone had BV or yeast infection throughout their entire pregnancy? I've done antibiotics and I still have itching. I'm scared its gonna make me go into preterm labor. I don't want to be on antibiotics my whole pregnancy but this is so uncomfortable. I eat yogurt and wear cotton underwear and wipe front to back...I'm doing everything I know of to prevent it. I told my doctor I thought I still had it and she brushed it off as yeast but that pill for yeast didn't make it go away....any advice mommies?

I didn't get it til later on in my pregnancy did they test your glucose? That can contribute to being so prone to it also

@babylanders, I can't go to the ER I'm at work. @mazeyy09 I get my glucose tested next month...just waiting patiently

You should bring that up to your doctor because I had a yeast infection and a week later I took the test and didn't pass when I went to the er for it that was one of the symptoms try not sleeping with underwear at night see if that gives you some relief

I had bv a few weeks ago. Don't do monistat with it. It will make it worse. Try wearing lose clothing or none of you can and definitely talk to your doctor.

@mazeyy09, I already don't sleep in underwear 😔 I literally feel out of options...I don't know what else to do. What did you go to the ER for?

@tiamari16, I already have had BV and took the antibiotics for it with a pill for a yeast infection. My last check up, literally a few days beyond finishing the antibiotics...I told her I was still having itching...she didn't even swab in me..just looked said yep yeast infection and gave me a pill. Well, I took the pill and the yeast infection is still here or its BV. It just pisses me off because she didn't even try to make sure..

go when u off @missaemt and a natural way eat fruit drink plenty of water no soda or juice for awhile wear WHITE COTTON PANTIES u can also call ur Dr's office and ask the nurse to prescribe u sum

I went because I had an itching sensation and my vagina seemed swollen but I didn't have the discharge so they just gave me a pill to take it took a few days for it to pass
