@emily18234, no a living will is different then a normal will. It's basically a document that stays what to do in case I'm in a coma or non responsive. It's suppose to tell the doctors what to do with me medically on my behalf

I don't have one yet, but my SO will be my power of attorney. I'm sorry that you have to even think about things like that, sending prayers your way for a safe delivery and healthy baby. @emily18234 I think everyone should have a will, just so your kids are protected. My bf has one with his job but that also has to do with life insurance. I think I may get life insurance, God forbid anything happens.

I have one, I decided to once I had my daughter, just in case. It's suggested that every adult has one, just in case.

@emily18234, if you have life insurance and God forbid you die the life insurance will pay for the cost of your funeral so your kids won't have to worry and you can write a will saying you would like the remaining of the money to go to your children.

@amaperalta03, nope. no life insurance. even when I did, I didn't list my son as the beneficiary. his dad would have me killed lol

@emily18234, I got life insurance 2 years ago when my grandmother passed away. It's the best thing to do God for bid I die my family won't have to worry about anything financially. You should look into it just to be safe

Legally @emily18234 if you pass before either of your kids pass before they're 18 you could list a guardian for them. I'm having someone listed as a guardian in case something happens to my SO and me. We will leave the guardian with all the money and they will be in control of our child's trust fund. You can never be too careful.
