@sarahdrew, yes, some insurances do now, its kind of like when you go to every prenatal appointment, you get points that add up and they can send you a crib/bed, car seat, ect.
@sarahdrew, definitely call and ask. I have the Malina(medicaid) and they do it, they called me and told me about the program and that I already have points, I can get gift cards or baby items

that is awesome.... maybe it's one of those that can sit on the bed but is elevated a bit or a smaller pack n play

It's probably a pack n play
