‼️Working Moms! If You are Able to Split Some of Your Leave Time I Encourage You to Do so I'm In California and I Saved 3 weeks of my bonding time to be able to be off for a few weeks before Gia turns 1! I will be off work from 4/1-4/25 taking he remainder of my bonding time and it will be PAID LEAVE!!! I kno for some it is hard to tear away from your baby esp if you are a first time mom but for me it works perfectly I was able to get back to the money and now I am able to spend the three weeks before her first birthday with her I'm hoping she walks before I return to work! Check your Family Leave Laws in your state!!! Don't just go by what your HR rep or Manager tells you! I did my research because many at my job were talked out of splitting their time outright told it wasn't possible which was false!

Paternity leave How much time did your S/O take off of work when you had a baby? Luckily I live in California so we have 6 weeks paid paternity leave (55%), but my S/O is getting s*** at work for taking 4 weeks. It's honestly infuriating that people are asking why he needs so much time off and "he's not going to be taking care of the baby the whole time". Umm it's called BONDING LEAVE. It's such bull s*** how people expect dad's to take way less time off as if it's not their kid too. Dad's deserve time off with their new babies too. Just had to rant about this ?
