So my boyfriends brother & his girlfriend are expecting & they are due the day after me with a little boy as well. Throughout the entire situation I've been kind of annoyed with the whole thing, just because it's really hard sharing such an exciting time with someone else & never having a single person just excited for you. Well we go to the same doctor and will delivering at the same hospital & we both got the same news yesterday about picking an induction date.. They're choosing next Thursday & we're choosing next Friday. I'm kind of bummed because I really wanted our son to be the first grandson to carry on the last name but it looks like that isn't going to happen now & im not going to schedule them for the same day because I don't want them having the same birthday 😔 Ugh I would much rather just go into labor on my own any day now :(

try inducing since now on your own your already considered full term so it wouldn't hurt the baby at all. have someone with you for one or two days straight and go walk the whole day... my sister had her baby 2 weeks early just by walking one whole straight day by the end of the night she was on her way to the hospital

@laila92, I've been a walking and bouncing fool the last week or so! :( All I managed to do is get my son to flip from one side of my belly to another. Ugh. He's just too darn comfortable in there!

@joy-itsagirl-8-16-16, We both go in for our appt's on Wednesday's & we will be scheduling them then for any day following. I really wanted 4/8 but had no idea she'd chosen 4/7. Kind of stinks that all of his side of the family are going to be celebrating the birth of their baby as opposed to being there for moral support while I'm in labor

I'm not sure if it makes you feel any better but, even when you're induced, labor still takes a different amount of time for each woman. My doctor told me that mine could be anywhere from 1-3 days.

@kikobear1996, I've heard that, just have never really asked many mommas about their personal experiences with induction so I'm not sure what I can gauge it off of! I'm still hoping and praying I go first lol 😩

Hey atleast theres a warning my sons cousin was born the day before him.... But her mother had no idea she was pregnant . Just stole my sons thunder right from under him

@squeakpipsmommi0607, Ugh that's what I'm worried about. The men think it would be soooooo cool & much less expensive if they were born in the same day so we could combine parties & stuff. At first I was against it, but I'm starting to warm up to the idea... Very slowly anyways lol

I wanted to do a combined birthday bur her mother said no which is fine ... But on his actually birthday we are taking him to disney and that weekend we are habing a pool party nd we are going to her birthday party the weekend before
