so I don't wanna sound like a health nut BECAUSE I AM NOT LOL but ladies let me tell you how much exercising makes pregnancy so much more comfortable. I've been pretty good about working out my whole pregnancy but for the past 2 weeks I have been slacking, I haven't gone to the gym at all. I noticed my legs were getting swollen and my blood started pooling in my veins in my legs. I could see my veins through my legs (not varicose veins but it deff seemed like they would form if I didn't do anything) my legs hurt, my feet hurt, I felt like a tub of lard, and I couldn't breathe well, MIND YOU THIS ALL STARTED HAPPENING WITHIN 2 WEEKS. finally I was like I should go to the gym I haven't been. so I pushed my fat Ass to go. when I got there I did my thing, and when I got home, I FELT LIKE A MILLION BUCKS. I didn't feel uncomfortable anymore, I could breathe well again, and my legs didn't look purple or swollen, they looked normal again and they were not achy.
so ladies I really recommend working out. I know it's the LAST thing you want to do. but trust me once you start, you will feel so much better.

What kind of workouts do you do?? I have not worked out at all but I'm thinking of going to the gym with my hubby for these last weeks of my pregnancy

my favorite thing is the stationary bike. I turn the resistance up, put on my music and just relax as I peddle away. before I know it I did a couple of miles! then I do some leg exercises like squats, but that's just by preference. when I'm farther along I will probably just stick with the stationary bike. I also will go on the treadmill and walk at an incline. the key is to just take your time and go at your own pace. @tammyo141

@shawtypop, I would have to agree. I had lost a bunch of weight before I got pregnant. So I been doing walking a lot! I feel much better physically and emotionally. When I don't have the energy and I skip walking my feet swell and I feel more depressed.

yup! it's like it keeps everything at bay. it doesn't have to be a hardcore workout, just something thatgets the blood flowing @kaydensmommy5
