I have a question that is TMI, but my son has issues pooping. Tonight he was straining really hard to poop and it came out pretty solid (hes only on sensitive formula) and fairly big! I went to wipe him with a wipe and there was blood. NONE in his poop, and I put a clean diaper on him and he pooped again this time more runny and no blood at all. My thoughts are that first one was just to big for his little butt and maybe tore a little, thoughts? it hasent happened at all since

that's exactly what happened. my son was like that when he first started solids and the runny poop is because he had such a big build up, almost like it was blocked behind the hard poo, If that makes sense lol! he should be okay :)

@nichole_lynn, thanks! I cant figure out why it was so solid as he is only on formula right now, no change in diet. I guess I wasn't insanely worried as there was no blood in the poop or even on the diaper so i know it wasn't internal, guess I was looking for reassurance lol

totally understandable! when my son wouldn't poop I brought him to the ER and they took belly xrays, he was backed up and they has us switch to soy formula to help loosen his bowels, and that helped a ton! @xoxo512070
