I wanted to share my story for those mommas trying to have a baby and it's just not happening for them.

My husband and I decided to start trying to have a second baby in August. I hadn't really thought of the idea of having another one but just hearing my husband say that instantly made me want another one. We wanted to get pregnant right away. When we got pregnant the first time I was off birth control for only 1 1/2 months. So naturally I thought it would happen quickly again.

After only a month of trying I was disappointed to get my period. So we tried even harder the next month. I wanted so bad to have an adorable Halloween announcement with pumpkins and fall leaves everywhere. October came and went and still no baby. November came and I was like "yes this is the month!" But nope. Then all I could do was think about how amazing a Christmas announcement would be! But nope. I was really starting to get discouraged, just remembering how quickly it happened the first time. Why wasn't it working this time too?!

So then early in January my sister in law announced her and her husband were pregnant. I cried. I was so upset. Happy for them but upset it wasn't me. So that's when I decided fine, it wasn't meant to be for us just yet and we need to stop trying for a while. I was starting to come to terms and being okay with my son being an only child. Until late February I was due for my period that day and had an extra test. I took it and it was positive!

I'm so sorry this is so long but I've seen so many ladies on here trying so hard to get pregnant and being disappointed. I want you all to know I never believed people when they told me to "just quit trying" until I genuinely did quit trying. Because that next month I got pregnant.
