I did the same thing with my kids, when it's just me and my 3yr old we listen to Kidd station on Sirius radio

I agree I did light r&b no rap now they are both 15&11;, they were Disney kids and my daughter who's 15 still listens to Hanna Montana lmao

@arachelle, yeah that's what I try to do too. I have a niece who is almost 2 too and all she does it walk around singing the nae nae song and j Cole and sometimes even fetty wap lol. Just things a 2 y/o doesn't need to know..

I'm the same way! my daughter is also 2 and she asks me to play her music any time we go someplace. it's not me forcing her it's just she prefers to sing along with the playlist to her favorite movies! and I'm grateful for that honestly! I don't mind that my daughter doesn't know the words to the songs on the radio lol

Yeah I'll be doing the same thing. "Snapchat that pussy" will never be heard by my children. And if anyone thinks your overprotective just roll with it, because your kid is more important that music.

Far from crazy! You do what you want with YOUR kid(s)! My daughter is 2...she knows her first/last name & how to spell it, her birthday, age, address, parents name, and the name of her preschool. She can count independently to 50, knows all of her colors, has been fully potty trained since one, knows every song from the frozen theme, to Elmo, to whip nae nae...it is what it is...she is not out her twerkin, shakin her butt in any way or bending over droppin it low...but again...she's mine & I am ok with her knowing some of the "new" (kid-friendly) songs.

@jaycee17, I would be mortified if my child knew that song! It's so inappropriate! I'd rather be overprotective that let my child lose any innocence that young. Smh. They have so much time in high school to be little badasses as toddlers they need to be toddlers

Understand that people are always going to have something to say...at the end of the day though, an opinion is like an asshole.. we ALL have one! Raise your LO the way you see fit, there isn't a book out there that can tell you how to do it, let alone a friend!!
