So, I have not seen my mom since August 18th, 2013. Two days after that she moved to Arkansas. She has missed so much in my life. My first day of college (which happened the day she left), bringing home my boyfriend that I knew was the one, my engagement, finding out I was pregnant, my wedding, and everything in between she had missed. I miss her so much. I got excited that she would come down for Cooper's birth, but that is not the case. She said she is going to wait until he is a month old and visit for a weekend only seeing me the first and last day. I feel like it is not enough time. I want her to get to know my husband and get to know me again because I am not the same person I was when she left. Most importantly, I want her to get to know my son, her grandson. It is going to break my heart all over again for her to leave. I wish she knew how much I need her in my life and how much I love her.

Have you tried writing her a letter? it's easier to get everything out on paper that you need and want to say.

@chichimango, @mantha823 the last time I did that, she got so mad at me. She asked me if I enjoyed her being miserable here. So I try not to, because I don't want her to stop speaking to me again. She doesn't want to see my dad. They have been separated since I was 3 and they still cant get over their differences for me and my two older brothers.

@milestide25, that's a shame that she can't get past that because it's her loss for not making an effort. I'm sorry she's decided to be like that. Maybe you should look into your in laws? Sometimes family is who you make it with.

My in-laws are wonderful. We are currently living with my MIL because of our finacial state of me not working because Cooper being here soon and Anthony only working part time while trying to finish college. I love her to peices, I have an awesome step-mom too, but it just isn't the same.
