Has anyone ever heard of high blood pressure being caused by low blood sugar? I just called l&d and the nurse told me my blood pressure could be high because of low blood sugar and to eat something, drink some water and if I still don't feel good to go down. I've just never heard of that and wondered if anyone else has?

When your sugar is low your body goes into distress like your heartbeat and you won't feel well so it causes your body to sorta panic

Yeah I'm hypoglycemic so I get low blood sugar a lot but my blood pressure has never been high before. And I can tell when my sugar is low and it wasn't. I Googled and it said that high blood sugar can cause high blood pressure but nothing about low blood sugar so I dont know. Being this far into my pregnancy and having high blood pressure I'm wondering if I should just go get checked out to be sure. I'd hate for something to be wrong and just ignore it.. @mimiz

Yes you can definitely be checked to be sure you know I don't like to google much because you really cannot be sure especially during pregnancy

Girl they get paid to be bothered I was there weekly because I was paranoid I know they miss me but I've learned to go along with my body and gut feeling most of my visits were gut feelings and thankfully I got checked
