The depo lasts 3 months and everybody is different when it comes to it like I never gained weight and I never had my period but my face broke out really bad the first time I had it done which was when I was 17 , now I just get spotting with mild cramps

I bleed for 2 weeks after it got inserted and had a period 2xs a month until my body got use to it which took 4 months now I have a normal period every month it has gotten.lighter some women don't have a period on it

@ayanhigirl, Yeah it lasts for 3 months it's a shot you get an it affects every girl every different way ... Like I only gained weight in my but an boobs but not badly an never got no rash or sickness it's really not a bad birth control just need to remember to get it every 3 months or you will get prego
