@daniellethomson, that's my concern. I'm not a fan of needles and this is the momma of all needles. I have a good pain tolerance but during delivery I don't want to count on it so I want to at least have the comfort knowing I can get an epidural but besides labor, the medication makes the whole process even scarier 😨
@daniellethomson, @sweetpea_nut to be honest I was sooo scared but they numb you before they put the needle in, that stung a tad. The part that hurt a little bit was getting the tube in position.... But I would definitely get it again
@daniellethomson, @whitneym yeah I saw that needle... Like I said, the momma of all needles lol but at least I'll have it just in case I absolutely can't take it... Had to watch the video of the process of putting in the epidural and it was making me nauseous lol
@daniellethomson, hahah yes it's funny because I have tattoos and I was like shaking and the person was like um this won't even hurt as bad as your tattoos 😂 I was like that's not the point! 😂😂😂 just go to a happy place lol I thought about my puppy 😂😂😂
@whitneym haha as long as I don't see it I can take a needle! I have a tattoo on my shoulder blade and a half sleeve tattoo that's shaded and colored so if I can last 3 and 1/2 hours taking a needle scraping and digging into my arm, surely I can take one big needle! 😂😭 I just hope I remember to breathe, close my eyes, and don't pass out! 😂😂
If you are in full blown labor and the contractions are so bad you won't even feel the needle just the relief. Lol. But what's getting me is that, this is my 6th child and I have never even heard of an epidural consultation lol
@baby6aryn, I know right? I have to have the consult or no epidural for me no matter how much screaming and crying I do lol they want me to sign a form so if I develop problems from the anesthesia they can't be held liable 😕

God knows the needles gonna hurt but so worth it when you dont feel all the pain.. 😧 We just have to be careful not to jump when they do it.

look up a epidural needle. It makes you rethink it. I might not get one. The needle scares me.
