🚨TMI🚨this is my daughters poops it's really hard and she's bled a little from irritation I've tried…

Don't do juice. are you breast or bottle feeding? Feed her less more often. Cut back solids if you're doing that, which you shouldn't do at all until 6 months and has met all requirements. That inckues rice cereal which isn't good for babies at all.

that's where I'm stumped I haven't given her any rice/solid foods and I'm formula feeding she drinks 6oz at 8am 5oz @ 12pm and 4oz at 3pm and 4 8pm and 3oz at 12am (depending if she wakes up in the middle of the night ) @meagansimone

I don't know how formula works as I breastfeed. How often does she poop? I don't think it should be brown. How are her bilrubin levels?

You have to give more than one bottle of prune juice. My son has issues with constipation and has since birth, we always did prune juice a few ounces every like 6-8 hours until he pooped, or 2oz warm water with 1 scoop of brown sugar (shook up) every 6-8 hours until he pooped. Now that he's older his doctor lets us use miralax.

she doesn't poop all the time but the doctor said it was normal and and I don't know what her bilirubin levels are she has a appointment on the 22nd of next month and when I called her doctor I was hoping he would say he needed to see her but he Said everything was normal but I read if she has more then 1 diaper with little pebbles of poop to call her doc and I did but nothing and I'm feeling really hopeless right now cuz it's her 3rd diaper of constipation and all I can do is hope the prune juice helps her and my dad said if it continues to take her to the ER @meagansimone

Is she on soy formula? That formula can cause constipation. My daughter is on it and gets constipated every now and then

Prune juice is full of sugar and is hard on her gi tract. It'll cause problems later on. Make an appontment and go in. it doesn't matter what he says, there's something wrong. her poop should not look like that. if he doesn't see it as a problem, gk to er and g gre t a new pediatrician.
