Hi ladies, I went to the doctor today and baby Lauren has not been growing as much has she should. She has only gained 1/2 pound in 2 weeks and is in the 6th percentile. My doctor has decided to induce me on Monday. She weighs 5 pounds 6 oz. I'll be 37 weeks Monday. Has anyone been through a similar situation? If so how long did your baby have to stay in hospital after being born? Please let me know. Thank you

My friend had hers at 37wks n her baby was round ur babies weight n she was able to go home after she had her. I think she was in the hospital a total of 2/3days

I did with my first daughter but she was weighing at 4 lbs 5 oz, and that's the weight she came out as and she didn't have any problems so I was able to take her home with me after my 2 day stay and at that time she was 4 lbs even when we left the hospital.

this happened with my last son, but he didn't have to go to nicu or anything and he went home with me two days later he was healthy just tiny don't worry too much sometimes it's better for baby to be out than to stay inside

@lalamichelle0707, yes they found out 2 weeks ago she was not gaining weight by ultrasound
